Which word can we use to describe moms? Using just one word is simply impossible. That's why people usually use words such as lovely, caring, beautiful, understanding, hard-working, warm, patient, happy, helpful, imaginative, tender, dynamic, inspiring, brave, romantic, pleasant, passionate, cute, imaginative, wonderful, protective, intelligent, generous, strong, kind, gentle, sweet, determined, faithful, holy, loved etc.
I myself thought about a way to describe this person
so called mom. I call her: SUPEPOWERFUL ALIEN. That’s what she is. No doubts about it. There’s no way she is a human
being. A normal human being does not love as she does. A normal human being
does not care as she does. A normal human being does not forgive as she does. A
normal human being does not fight and believes in her fights as she does.
This SUPERPOWERFUL ALIEN can see and anticipate everything. I
remember once I was running, just running, nothing more than that, just running when my mom said: ‘Edson. Stop
running. You are going to fall.’ I don't remember how long... Maybe 3 or 5 seconds after those prophetic words and... BANG... I fell. Gosh. How did she know that?
A mom knows everything:
- she knows when you are happy.
- she knows when you are sad.
- she knows when you are lying.
- she knows when you are telling the truth.
- she knows when you are in love.
- she knows when you are depressed because of love.
- she knows when you are hiding something.
- she knows when you want to talk
- she knows when you are in trouble.
- she knows when all you need is silence.
Another sense that just a mom has is the sense of sacrifice. This being is
willing to do whatever it takes to save her son. She will donate any organ to
her son in case he needs. She will jump in a river to save her son’s life even
though she doesn’t swim. She will jump in front of a vehicle if she has to. And
it doesn’t matter if it is a beetle or a truck. She will jump. She will steal
if she has to in order to feed her son. She will make a fuss in a hospital if
her son needs immediate care. She will fight against anyone who says any little
thing about her son. She will spend the whole night at the hospital and will
leave just when her son seems to be better. But when she sees her son smiling
again, fooling around, she will think: “what a sweet sacrifice”.
I used to think that a mom is a perfect person, but I was
wrong. I have learned that this being suffers from vision problems (myopia). In her opinion she has the
most beautiful and amazing son in the whole world. It doesn’t matter how ugly
he is, how fat or thin he is, how tall or short he is, if he is black or white
or yellow. Those things don’t matter. They are just appearances. Her son is the
greatest son on Earth. If you tell her different, you are going to start a
fight. And be prepared because you are going to lose.
All this love, care, kindness and forgiveness make me
think. Do moms go to hell when they die? I don’t think so. They can’t go to
hell. Not after doing what they do.
I am pretty sure there is a special place that God has reserved for these SUPERPOWERFUL ALIENS.
